Who are the best UK small businesses for sending letterbox gifts?
The letterbox and gifting world is blooming and I honestly didn't realise how many amazing small businesses there are to choose from until I launched Pockets of Bliss.
Why do we think that there is such a demand for this kind of niche?
Well, its because the idea of being able to have a convenient and unique way to gift someone is perfect. I love being able to find small gift box businesses that can curate a box that suits my recipient, they package it nicely and send it with love without me having to go to the shops, umming and ahhing about what to buy, the convenience of not even having to leave the house, and thats not lazy, in this day and age, everyone is busy, this doesn't take away from the feeling of wanting to buy something nice, relevant or meaningful for someone, it just means you can relax and buy with ease plus by buying through small businesses like us you are keeping us seen, because lets face it, the big companies really make us insignificant, so shop small if you can.
I'm never one to shy away from being blatantly honest with respect to competition as competition is healthy and completely normal and I think its super important to keep you in the know, be transparent and let you make informed choices.
So here is a list of the 3 small businesses similar to POB that I would recommend:
- TreatBoxUk - this small business as actually grown significantly over the last 10 years and is a women owned business with a all women cast. They have a vast collection of ready to go boxes, build your own and a subscription service. I have personally purchased from them on a few occasions now.
- Outoftheboxgifts - this online gifting shop has a lot of values that I respect, they use local businesses and are heavy on being eco-friendly. I love how different they are from treatboxuk, its more fun finding differences and gifts to suit everyone.
- Sandandsparkle - are a Devon based small business. They use local artisan businesses for their gift boxes and have a enfaces on environmentally friendly considerations and supporting local.
- Pocketofbliss - We are a gift box service that is pretty darn' new. Pockets of bliss came from a dark place and has helped me have a focus and I honestly love every minute of this new and exciting journey. Pockets of bliss is a fully vegan owned small biz and Im a one women band at this time. My focus was simply put, to make others smile, to encourage self-awareness and self-appreciation and to speak openly about mental health. I have also always endeavoured to keep our eco ethos strong and will always continue to do so. So, although we are currently a small fish in a big pond, Im calmly taking this journey and where ever it will take me, id be happy for the company if you would like to take a ride with me.
